Welcome to an afternoon\u2019s discussion on the status and legitimacy of Media and Communication Research, from three interesting perspectives; one more liberal-arts one more market-oriented, and one more political. The three panellists are Git Claesson Pipping,<\/em> Chair of SULF and researchber att S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University, Thomas Karlsohn<\/em>, Theory of Scientist from University of G\u00f6teborg that has written about media, bildung and university education, and Claudia Rademaker<\/em>, researcher on the effects of advertisement and media at the Stockholm Buisness school.<\/p>\n The discussion will be followed by a Award ceremony \u2013 the new FSMK award for best dissertation. And the day finishes with buffet dinner. All free for FSMK\u2019s members.
