In this lecture, Nick Couldry will present some of the core arguments discussed in his most recent book, The Mediated Construction of Reality<\/i> (Polity Books, 2017), and elaborate on the implications these arguments have on social theory \u2013 especially in relation to stability\/instability of social orders.<\/p>\n
The distinguished lecture is organized in collaboration between the Department of Informatics and Media and\u00a0the Department of Business Studies and will be followed by a seminar\/panel debate with Nick Couldry and senior faculty from several departments at Uppsala University.<\/p>\n
