Call for papers, NordMedia 2015
We invite you to submit abstracts for the NordMedia 2015 conference under the theme Media Presence – Mobile Modernities. Deadline for submitting abstracts is February 25th, 2015. The conference accepts abstracts for full papers, extended abstracts, panel proposals and poster presentations.
We are very happy to announce that the European Group of Organizational Studies (EGOS) has approved to launch a new Standing Working Group (SWG) “Organization as Communication”. The SWG will be coordinated by Dennis Schoeneborn (Copenhagen Business School), Consuelo Vasquez (UQAM Montréal), Timothy Kuhn (University of Colorado at Boulder), and François Cooren (Université de Montréal). The SWG will feature EGOS sub-themes from 2015-2018 that each will address the formative and constitutive role of communication for organizations and organizing. Worth noting, the SWG will provide “Egosians” with a new home for anybody interested in organizational communication, discourse, narratives, rhetoric, or tropes. Ny föreståndare för Nordicom
Efter många år lämnar Ulla Carlsson föreståndarskapet för Nordicom. Hon har utnämnts till UNESCO Chair in Freedom of Expression, Media Development and Global Policy.

Hej, Journalism Studies Division söker paper reviewers inför 2015 års konferens i San Juan, Puerto Rico. Vi har f n brist på reviewers; normalt bedöms alla papers av tre reviewers och det vill vi gärna kunna fortsätta med. Du kan vara reviewer även om du inte är medlem i ICA och även om du själv inte tänker åka på ICA. Den som ställer upp kommer få papers för bedömning kring 6/11 och man har sedan en månad (fram till ca 8/12) på sig att skriva sina bedömningar.
